Canadian Poker Tour Players Card & Membership information:

This card will entitle our members to a number of benefits:

• The C.P.T. is always striving to offer a player friendly poker tour in which the players take pride in following and being a part of Canadian poker. We value our membership and will do our best to reward as many poker players from across the country for their participation in C.P.T. events. The Canadian Poker Tour is offering unprecedented rewards for tour members, including:
• 2009 C.P.T. membership and players card
• Annual subscription to the Canadian Poker Player magazine
• Introductory package of C.P.T. apparel
• Monthly promotions including discounted registration fees for various C.P.T. events
• Earn C.P.T. points in the 2009 to qualify player for C.P.T. player point championship (P.P.C.)
• 2010 sponsorship contract for P.P.C. - Canadian poker champion. Caption of team C.P.T..
• 2010 Sponsorship contract as part of team C.P.T. for 2nd to 6th place finishers at P.P.C.
• Remainder of top 50 at P.P.C. all receive C.P.T. prize packages

C.P.T. Players Point System and Rewards

• The points system is designed to reward players for their consent achievement in C.P.T. events and allow them the opportunity to compete in a national tour, crowning a Canadian poker champion.
• A Canadian Poker Tour player membership will be required to earn C.P.T. player points and be recorded in the player point standings. Points won prior to registering for a 2009 C.P.T. Players membership will not count towards that player's points in the standings.
• The C.P.T. players points leader board will highlight the top tournament players in the country, each competing for benefits associated with placing in the top 50.
• The C.P.T. is offering substantial value to our tour members in competing for prizes, including a sponsorship contract valued at close to $100,000 to the champion of the televised C.P.T. players points championship.

2009 C.P.T. players points championships & Top 50

• The top 50 C.P.T. points leaders will each receive airfare, accommodations and entry valued at over $5000 to the C.P.T. players points championships in January 2010. The top 50 points leaders will play off for the following prizes donated by the Canadian Poker Tour.
• The players points championship will crown a Canadian Poker Champion, who will receive a championship ring and a 1 year sponsorship contracted worth an estimated $100,000. Buy-in's to a minimum of 10 major events, including the main event of the WSOP, entries to World Poker Showdown events and major C.P.T. events are part of the sponsorship contract. The winner will be featured in all participating C.P.T. media venues as Canada's next 'Television Poker Superstar". Profiles in the Canadian Poker Player magazine, the score television network as well as having their own blog on our C.P.T. website will highlight the achievement of our Canadian Poker Champion.
• Players who finish 2nd to 6th in the paler's points championship will each receive a C.P.T. sponsorship contract with an estimated $25,000 in 2010. The players become official members's of team C.P.T. and will receive buy in's to a minimum of 8 major CPT events from coast to coast.
• The remaining finalists in the Players Points Championship will receive C.P.T. prize packages
• The C.P.T. will definitely do our best to continually offer greater rewards for the players to win through competition. As we Continue to grow the opportunities will increase and will be made available to the players at the earliest moment possible.
