PokerEH was founded in November of 2004 by David Howard, a Canadian born poker player who noticed the lack of information for Canadian poker players online. Over the last three years, it has developed into the number one resource for Canadian players to access information on everything related to poker in Canada. This includes upcoming tournaments, biographies and information on professional Canadian players, information on Casinos that offer poker, rules and strategies for playing better, and much more.

Our content is Canadian specific, and as such, a huge percentage of our traffic is Canadians. This works out fantastically to advertisers, who like to find a niche to advertise to. Our website receives an average of 7919 unique visitors/month, 75912 page views/month and 206773 hits/month, based on previous 11 months May 1st 2007-March 31st 2008. PokerEh.com receives most of its revenue via advertising, either selling banner space for a price per banner view (our pricing is located here), or by advertising directly for poker rooms. Poker rooms pay either CPA (cost per acquisition), which ranges from $100-$200 for each new player, or on a revenue sharing system, which pays a percentage (usually between 20-40%) of all revenue received from the player. Why is David selling PokerEH.com? "Due to other commitments, I have not been spending as much time on the website as I should. I haven't been doing my part as far as keeping the sites news and tournament areas as updated as they should be, nor have I been maximizing income by adding and rotating new banners and ads. In its first year, the site grew to become a really fantastic site, and the profits were growing right along with it. Due to a lack of work on my part, things have been stagnant for the last year or so. I think a person with the right attitude and commitment could easily grow PokerEH.com revenue into a website that generates $250,000+ per year."

Coming up with an exact pricing for the sale of PokerEh.com is tricky, which is why I am using this 'auction style' as opposed to a flat rate. I used the calculator here for an estimation, and came up with the following results:
